Spring In Spokane Was One Of Our Coolest And Wettest

Spring In Spokane Was One Of Our Coolest And Wettest

Spokane residents should be congratulated.  We just made through the 9th coolest and 4th wettest Spring on record!  At Spokane International Airport, 6.89" of precipitation, both rain and snow, was measured for the three month period of March, April and May (climatologists use those months for "Spring" for record-keeping purposes).  This falls short of the record, which is 9.24" set back in 1948.  Records have been kept for Spokane since 1881.    There were some records broken this Spring in other Inland Northwest towns.  Deer Park
