Sherman closed between 6th and 7th due to downed tree |

Sherman between 6th and 7th is closed on the lower South Hill after a tree, toppled by gusting winds, hit a power line.

There's no ETA on when the road will be reopened.

The Inland Northwest is currently under a wind advisory through 8 p.m. Winds are west to northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Winds have already increased in this area and will continue to remain very windy through this evening.

Windy and gusty conditions will make driving high profile vehicles difficult. Winds may cause scattered power outages as branches are blown onto power lines. Poorly anchored high profile objects may shift or become airborne.
