Sneak peek of "Jersey Boys" at the INB | Arts & Culture
Title (Max 100 Characters)
The Tony Award-winning show "Jersey Boys" is making a stop in Spokane at the INB for the next two weeks.
The musical chronicles the formation, rise and fall of the original four members of The Four Seasons.
KXLY got a sneak peek back stage to meet some of the actresses and see some of the costumes.
The cast and crew, 19 performers and 50 crew members, will perform 16 shows over the next two weeks. Of those 19 performers, only three are women. These three women definitely take multi-tasking to a new level - they play a combined 54 different roles.
Kara Tremel, Leslie Taylor and Lauren Decierdo make up the trio of actresses, all with backgrounds in theater, dance and singing.
Taylor has only had about two weeks to prepare for this show, but she could not be more excited, saying that this is "[her] dream come true" and that rehearsals "never get old."
For the 19 performers in the show, there are 3,000 different pieces of garments for them to wear. On top of that, the show carries an extra 6,000 pieces of garments for extras and understudies.
All of the music for the show is also live and 90% of the instruments seen on stage willl be played live as well.
