Ham on Regal performs for 50th year | Arts & Culture
The Ham on Regal Players are gearing up for another fun-filled show sure to delight audiences of all ages.
This year’s show, “Regal Avengers Project Blueprint,” will be another winner! More than 300 parents use their hidden talents to perform and be a “ham” as they sing, dance and jump into action for this, our 50th annual fundraising event.
Join the Ham on Regal Players as we help a group of bumbling studio actors who are on a mission to find the missing blueprint plans to our very own Ferris High School Auditorium! Ham on Regal parents are running all over parts of Spokane looking for portions of the missing blueprint. They are so desperate to find the plans that they have enlisted some very famous, if not very qualified, folks to help in the search!
Normally, our Ham on Regal shows are performed in the Ferris High School Auditorium located at 37th and Regal on Spokane’s South Hill. Unfortunately, with the Ferris Modernization Project blueprints missing, our performances will have to be held in our own very specially outfitted Gym!
Rehearsals/Cast Meetings started February 2, in the new Commons at Ferris High School.
Tickets for our production will go on sale in March. Ticket prices are $7 and $9, and are available from any Ham on Regal cast member, the Ferris High School Business office, 2nd Look Books, Round Table Pizza and Rosauer’s on 29th Avenue.
If you’re a Ferris parent, there’s still time to get involved! Since its inception, the combined Ham on Regal shows have raised more than $1.4 million for Ferris High School programs. Last year’s show raised more than $79,000! Help us reach another milestone this year by attending a show, buying raffle tickets and purchasing advertising in the show program.
Come and see what this 50-year tradition is all about!
