A Spokane woman fell just short of being crowned 2011 Miss Washington. Genay Tucker, who was competing as Miss Spokane, finished third in the scholarship pageant over the weekend.
Tucker was previously Miss Washington outstanding teen in 2007 after winning the Miss Greater Vancouver outstanding teen the same year.
Brittney Henrey, 24, of Edgewood in Pierce County will represent the state in January at the Miss America 2012 pageant in Las Vegas.
