Blu Berry Frozen Yogurt's Soft-Opening | Business

Ten very dedicated frozen yogurt fans were lined up this afternoon to greet the soft-opening of Blu Berry Frozen Yogurt on Spokane's Upper South Hill. In the hour after they were opened, co-owner Jen Heggenstaller said, "Over 100 had gone through their doors." 

As you walk in, their expansive space is still somewhat bare: "We still have a lot of cosmetic touch-ups to do," she said, "We'll also be getting some TVs."

Jen co-owns the shop with her husband, Jim. He showed up off the back room where the frozen yogurt magic happens. In the short time that they have been officially open, the Red Velvet flavor was the most popular. "I've refilled it four times already. There's about one gallon per container." 

It's been 62 days since they started the construction of their business and so far they're very pleased with the response. The business is a welcomed sight to the South Hill neighborhood according to fans on their Facebook page. 

Their grand opening is in four weeks. They hope to make it a festive celebration with swag giveways and even room for their fitness neighbors to come in and offer membership specials.
