Albertsons and the Milk-Bone brand partner to make donation to national, non-profit organization

Albertsons and the Milk-Bone brand partner to make donation to national, non-profit organization

Albertsons and the Milk-Bone® brand are making a joint donation to the Canine Assistants Organization towards the purchase of a service dog for an individual with disabilities.  This donation will be equivalent to $20,000!  Accepting this donation on their behalf is two-time Milk-Bone Canine Assistants recipient Daniel Swanson.  Daniel, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 7-years-old, will provide personal testimony on how this donation changed his life and introduce everyone to his service dog, Sprock.

Primary tasks of these highly-trained service dogs include picking up dropped items, obtaining help in case of emergency and providing constant companionship!

To further involve the community, Albertsons invited the children from Christ Beginnings Child Center to attend the event and learn more about service dogs and how they help those with disabilities.
