Time-Lapse: Lightning storm over Spokane
News, Weather

We were sent some sweet video of a recent lightning storm that passed over Spokane. Josh Burdick, a hobbyist photographer, spent about three hours recording a time-lapse of Sunday's storm from his Five Mile Prairie home.

The first shot featured in the video faces south Spokane toward Tower Mountain. Burdick explained that the second part of the video faces east toward Beacon Hill. He shot about 800 frames and spliced them together for the video.

During the shoot, he let the camera sit there and run while he got a few snoozes in. Eventually the camera's battery died.
