Spokane Police say they've arrested a 21-year-old man on a charge of First Degree Assault for stabbing another man multiple times in southeast Spokane.
Officers responded to the area of 4th and Fiske around 3 a.m. Saturday.
Two men were arguing and a fight broke out. Officers say Jesse D. Bell pulled out a knife and stabbed a 29-year-old man multiple times in the torso, back and arms.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition. He was later upgraded to stable condition.
Bell fled the scene before officers arrived, but turned himself in later that day. He was booked into the Spokane County Jail on charges of First Degree Assault.
