Cliff Park's new staircase repaired after chipping damage | News

Park officials say repairs have been made to Cliff Park’s recently resurfaced staircase. It was damaged last month after someone threw a large rock off the top and chipped the stair’s concrete.

Police responded to the August 20 incident when a neighbor reported the malicious mischief at the South Hill park. Extra prowl checks were conducted to prevent further incidents.

The city’s park planning manager, Taylor Bressler, explained the damage was not a catastrophe.
