Prepare for heavy machinery and construction crews.
Hatch Road and Perry Street from 57th Avenue to 43rd Avenue will be torn up this spring.
Signs announcing the project went up this week.
The project is part of Spokane's 10-Year Street Bond Program that passed in 2004. According to the city, this particular project will cost $516,000.
Work to be completed includes curb-to-curb rehabilitation of Hatch Rd. from 57th Ave./Perry intersection to 43rd Ave. Runners and walkers will be happy to hear, new sidewalks and curbs will be installed. Bike lanes and a turn lane will also be included, according to the city.
The project will be completed sometime this summer.
