Inland Northwest Honor Flight

Inland Northwest Honor Flight is making it's third trip of 2011 this Friday July 15 at 11:55. Vets will be gathering at the Spokane Airport about 10:30 am...they will return Sunday July 17 at 4:20 in the afternoon. INWHF will be making a special presentation on Friday July 15 to the family of Pvt. Herman Sturmer whose remains were recently returned to Spokane. Inland Northwest Honor Flight continues to honor our living World War II vets for their sacrifices and especially those who paid the ultimate price--giving their lives to protect our freedoms.

Free Lemonade And Smiles

Free Lemonade And Smiles

Spokane boys RJ and Hunter are mixing up lemonade and flashing their best smiles to raise money for the Minot, North Dakota flood victims.

Their family has been glued to the coverage since the flooding began because their mom is from North Dakota and their uncle and grandpa still live there.

They started their lemonade stand the Sunday of Hoopfest Weekend and made $85. They had so much fun running a non-profit organization that they're doing it again this Sunday from noon to 6pm along 38th between Cuba and Havana on the South Hill.
