Construction Nears Completion

Spring is in the air and the Avista Stadium Construction Project is nearing completion all while staying under budget.

Headed by locally based Kilgore Construction, the Spokane County and Spokane Indians project is slated to be completed by May 5th.  The stadium's upgrades will feature a brand new concession stand that will introduce a variety of new menu items, improved administration building and Ticket Offices, and a new Team Store.  Also, repaving of the outer concourse will improve safety issues while dressing up the area.

For more information about the current construction project, please visit spokaneindians.com. During construction, the Indians front office will be located in the home clubhouse on the first base side of the stadium open during regular business hours, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Less than 900 tickets remain for Coca-Cola Chiefs season finale

The Spokane Chiefs have announced that less than 900 tickets remain for Friday night's Coca-Cola Regular Season Finale versus the Tri-City Americans.

Tickets to all home games, including the first two games of the WHL Playoffs on Friday, March 22nd and Saturday, March 23rd, are available by calling the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.

Friday night's game will be the first half of a home-and-home series with Tri-City as the two will play in Kennewick on Saturday night. The two games will help decide who holds home ice advantage in their playoff series against each other. Spokane currently leads Tri-City for the fourth spot by two points, 86-84. If the two teams remain equal in points then wins would determine the higher seed, which Spokane leads by two, 42-40. Both teams play road games on Sunday night to close out the regular season.
